  • Wei was born to a wealthy family with parents who owned a multi-million dollar company. His parents sent him to Syracuse University expecting that he could take over the family company in the future. However, Wei's parents had to work long hours to ensure the company ran smoothly, and thus spent very little time raising Wei. As Wei grew up, he was very shy and struggled in social situations. Though Wei was always a do-gooder (with a GPA of 3.98), he failed twice in applying for summer internships at the top accounting companies. Wei hoped to work in a U.S. leading accounting company for 2-3 years before joining his parents company. However, the reality of rejection hit him hard. When he contacted us, he told us he could easily get an offer from pretty much any Chinese company through his parents' network, however, he had to rely on himself in the U.S.
  • After the initial interview, Hedy contacted Mr. Molavi (the chief mentor of Elite Program) to see whether he could offer some help. Mr. Molavi conducted a second interview with Wei. After the interview, he analyzed Wei's performance carefully and wrote a individualized plan for Wei. Based upon the plan, Wei's training started. His training involved character buidling, communication skills and networking skills. After 20 one-on-one sessions and a three-month internship at GMBP, Wei turned into a completely different person demonstrating newfound extraversion and social skills.
  • To no surprise, Wei applied to top accounting firms and received 3 job offers. This fall, he started a new journey at DTT.
  • This year, our Elite program also starts a new journey. The individualized tutoring turns into our current Elite Program, one of the most popular program in our company.

Turning Chinese Emerging Managers into Global Leaders
Turning Chinese Emerging Managers into Global Leaders
  • In today’s corporate climate where forward-looking companies must adapt to the global economy to maintain their competitive edge, few choices are more critical to the success of a business than deciding the direction of expansion. For our client, China’s leading manufacturing company with 544 subsidiaries and more than 90,000 employees, this was precisely the challenge they faced as they sought to find the right balance between the expansion of their existing brand internationally and the expansion of their corporate footprint into emerging markets and business sectors.
  • Cultivate an international mindset to anticipate and respond to future challenges as they transition into their new leadership roles within the company Broaden their knowledge of operating in markets with different regulations Apply key skills to real-life operations through action learning Distinguish themselves from their competitors by developing their cultural competency Hone their understanding of financing, mergers, and acquisitions through case studies
  • Our partnerships with institutions across the U.S. allowed us to meet the company’s goals for rich executive development and delivery of a holistic training program. In addition to traditional classroom learning, we also designed action-learning projects and case-based contextual learning scenarios. We supplemented the out-of-the-classroom learning experience by planning a number of special events including guest lectures on relevant fields, site visits, and networking events. The core of the 12-week program was comprised of modules, including Marketing, International Finance and Investment, Strategic Management, Supply Chain Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Operation Management.
  • The program helped the executives foster leadership capabilities and an entrepreneurial mindset so that they can make the transition from mid to high-level management and their corporation can transition from having a national to an international presence.

  • Li had two months of unsatisfactory homestay experiences after she came to the United States for her 9th grade. She lived in a furnace-like attic with limited spaces, which was very different from the room condition that she was told. The host family was 20-mile away from her school, and the school bus took her one hours to school every day; she cannot sign up for after-school activities, otherwise, she had to miss the school bus and her host mom cannot pick her up. The single host mom was in her mid-sixtieth, very nice, but had very small social circles. Li had never been to other places than the home, school, neighbor's home, and Sunday church after two months in the United States. Due to the unexpected homestay life, Li had very struggling take-off in the States, and her mom came to us for help.
  • After speaking with Li to fully understand her homestay demands, we provided her two very qualified host families within 10 mins driving; one host dad will provide the transportation on weekdays and weekends for extracurricular activities. After meeting with both families, Li chose the one whose daughter goes to the same school and same grade with her. Li quickly became a member of the family, hung out with her host sister and friends, and went out for family activities. We are all delighted to see the return of the bubbling girl.
  • AHS has expertise on both homestay placement and custody service, including homestay coordination, academic support, mentoring and guidance. Li's designated bilingual counselor connected with on a regular basis, tracks her weekly school performance, talks to teachers, takes Li out for events every other week, and conducts a formal home visit every month. WholeRen connects Li, the host family, and the school with her overseas parents to ensure everyone is always on the same page and sharing both happy stories and concerns as they come up.
  • Studying in the U.S. has never been easier especially for adolescents and we are happy to be able to provide sound, safe and reliable service to you and your child. We take pride in our services, but also in all the achievements our students obtain.
